Orion’s Two New Flex Model Stretch Wrappers Set the Standard for Durability and Investment Value

Date: October 23, 2012

  • Flex Series adds High Profile Standard and Low Profile Standard models
  • Durable construction, user-friendly features deliver high value performance

Alexandria, MN – Orion Packaging expanded their popular Flex line of semi-automatic stretch wrappers with two new models, the HPS (High Profile Standard) and the LPS (Low Profile Standard). These new Flex models deliver state-of-the-art performance and investment value, as well as the durability and reliability that have long been the hallmark of Orion machines.

Both new models boast performance and features unavailable on similarly priced machines in the market place. Flex S models feature durable all steel construction, easy to use touch screen controls, a dual chain lift film carriage drive, AC-VFD motors and heavy-duty turntable support components. Motors, gearboxes and electronics are protected inside the durable steel mast for years of reliable performance in nearly any packaging environment. Flex S models have a maximum turntable speed of 12 RPM and are capable of stretch wrapping up to 30 loads per hour. HPS and LPS models handle loads weighing up to 4,000 pounds.

Film economy is achieved with Orion’s proven InstaThread powered prestretch film delivery system, which precisely elongates stretch film 260% prior to being wrapped on the load. Orion supports its industry leading prestretch system with a lifetime warranty on its prestretch rollers.

By design, the new Flex S models use many non-proprietary parts for easy, cost-effective maintenance easy. Among the available options for the HPS and LPS are mast extensions for taller loads and a 30” film carriage.

“Orion’s Flex Series reflects Orion’s three decades of stretch wrapper engineering and manufacturing excellence to provide customers with exceptional performance, durability and reliability in even the most severe industrial environments,” said Steve Holland, Vice-President of Sales.

Orion's new Flex models will be featured at Pack Expo International, October 28-31 in Chicago’s McCormick Place. Mark your plans to visit the Orion Booth - N-4019. For more information about the new Flex models, contact Orion at 800-333-6556; 901-888-4170 or visit www.orionpackaging.com.
