Automatic Stretch Wrapping Turntable - FA-33 Overview

Orion's FA-33 is the top of the line automatic stretch wrapping turntable in terms of speed, weight capacity and features. The FA-33 stretch wrapper can handle loads weighing up to 6,000 pounds and features ring bearing support under the 22 RPM turntable. This pallet wrapping machine is an excellent choice for high production level applications which demand maximum speed, efficiency and long term durability.

Controller

Orion uses rugged, locally available switches, buttons and pots on control panels. Controls are logical and easy to understand. A large mushroom style E-stop button shuts the machine down immediately. This free-standing controller is CSA approved and NEMA 12 rated.

Allen Bradley Controller / VFD Drives

The FA-33 automatic stretch wrapping turntable uses the Allen Bradley / Series PLC controller for maximum flexibility and reliability. Low maintenance, long lasting AC motors are used throughput the FA-33 stretch wrapper thanks to advanced Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) controllers. One look inside the FA-33 controller shows the pride of craftsmanship that goes in to each and every Orion stretch wrapping system.

Heavy duty conveyors Unlike some manufacturers, Orion builds all of their own conveyors in house for the ultimate in quality control and durability. Each conveyor roller is supported by a full length solid steel axle and welded on (not pressed on) caps. These axles are then supported with individual cast housing bearings for the ultimate in strength and durability.

Turntable Ring Bearing Support

The turntable on the FA-33 pallet stretch wrapper is supported by a precision ring bearing and driven by industrial grade ANSI chain. This system has proven itself to be the most efficient and trouble-free method of turntable drive in hundreds of installations worldwide.

Optional S-Sense Powered Prestretch Film Delivery

The FA-33 stretch wrapping machine is available with either the Insta-Thread film carriage or Orion's innovative new S-Sense carriage, a unique system which offers the high efficiency of an "S" film path, yet with the same fast, easy threading of the Insta-Thread carriage. The standard prestretch level is 260% however rates of up to 400% are available upon request.
