Hey, I'm Craig Zelasko, Orion's Product Line Manager. I want to give you a quick overview of Orion Packaging. In 2007, Orion was relocated to Alexandria, Minnesota, where we handle all the engineering, design, manufacturing, and assembly of our product line. Orion stretch wrappers are categorized into three basic groups based on speed, overall size, load weight, and other factors. Let's start with the entry-level options.
The Sentry machines are the perfect upgrade from hand-wrapping operations. With a standard 200% film pre-stretch, these machines save money and ensure consistency in wrapping, which typically results in safer and more secure loads during transport. The Sentry LP or HP models are ideal for operations wrapping up to about 20 pallets per hour and loads weighing no more than 4,000 pounds. One key feature of all Orion equipment is the standard colored HMI touch screen, providing a similar look and feel across all models, from entry-level to large automatics.
Next, we have the Flex line wrappers. These semi-automatic stretch wrappers can handle up to 30 to 45 pallets per hour and come standard with 260% film pre-stretch, corner compensating carriage, and a 5,000-pound load capacity. Our Flex automatics, like the LPA or HPA, automatically clamp, cut, and wipe the film, eliminating the need for the operator to touch it.
Finally, our fully automatic line can handle up to or even over 100 pallets per hour. These machines come with numerous standard features, including a 10-inch color touch screen, Cat 3 safety, high-low electrical power separation, and the standard 260% pre-stretch. They can also be highly customizable with options like top sheet dispensers, corner board placers, our speedy Low Pro drag chain, or heavy-duty conveyor.
