The Ultimate High Speed Pallet Wrapper - The MA

The new Dual Carriage MA stretch wrapping system takes the high-speed performance of the MA to another level. Using dual 30” Insta-Thread™ film carriages and 28RPM counter-balanced rotary arms the MA pushes load throughput up-to 100 pallets an hour. The MA incorporates a second rotary arm and film carriage on the opposite side of the load. The opposing carriages apply the film in a crisscross pattern that not only improves speed, it also provides additional stability.

Welcome to our showcase of one of the most intuitive and easy-to-use HMIs on the market. This 10-inch touchscreen comes standard on all our automatic equipment, including the MADX2. You won't need to pay extra at the time of sale to access all its features and benefits. Notice that on the HMI, the current recipe is set to one. The changes we are about to make to the tension will only affect the current recipe. The large digital keypad makes updates super easy.

When the HMI is locked, the operator can still change or switch between recipes, but unlocking the HMI is required to make any setting changes to the recipe or other program settings. Automatic load separation is one of our standards, particularly useful for triple pallets being dropped off by walkies, especially in the beverage industry. Notice how quickly and smoothly these loads transfer from one section of Lo Pro to the next without the traditional roller conveyor vibration.

At only four inches, our Lo Pro has the smallest profile in the industry. It does not require any extra unstable ramping or pits to collect debris. In this video, we are showing the dual 30-inch carriage option, which allows for up to 100 loads per hour. A standard Lo Pro MADX will still have a single 20-inch carriage with 260% pre-stretch capability, averaging over 60 loads per hour.

Shown now is our split Hi-Lo power panel, the secondary HMI mounting option. As a reminder, all Orion automatic equipment comes standard with CAT 3 safety and zone e-stop. The zone e-stop will only shut down the wrap zone for a quick film change, allowing product to stage on the in-feed conveyor or be processed down the exit conveyor. A full e-stop will shut down the entire system.

With this scale, you can also add a printer applicator or program a load rejection if the pallet weight is off. Boat consolidation at the end will allow all three pallets to be picked back up at the same time and moved to the truck.
